NAOSH Week 2015 National Launch, May 4th

NAOSH Week 2015 National Launch: May 4th at Prairieland Park, Saskatoon

We are pleased to announce Saskatchewan has been chosen by the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering to host the National Launch for 2015 NAOSH Week, on Monday, May 4, 2015 in Saskatoon.

The local Northern Light Chapter and the South Saskatchewan Chapter of the CSSE and both the National and Provincial NAOSH Committees invite all Saskatchewan employers to come out and support the NAOSH Week national launch event (which will be streamed live across Canada). Let’s show our province’s positive commitment to workplace health and safety to the entire country.  People from across the country will be here, along with 200 young workers from local Saskatoon high schools competing in the Amazing Safety Quest!

We will be presenting and introducing the Amazing Safety Quest competition, which is an array of hands-on activities designed to engage and educate young workers about the importance of workplace health and safety.

The Amazing Safety Quest is a friendly competition to encourage young and new Saskatchewan workers to make safety a habit at the start of their career, both at work and at home.  It will be fun and will be an excellent workplace safety learning experience for our youth who are just entering the workforce!

Come and check it out, and consider becoming a sponsor (see below).

Guest Speaker

The national luncheon will feature Saskatchewan native Greg Johnson, Storm-Chaser and Severe Weather Expert. Greg will share a positive message and exhilarating visuals relating to leadership, assessing workplace hazards and risks, situational awareness, and emergency preparedness.
