The Canadian Light Source (CLS) is a unique national research facility, producing the brightest light in Canada. The CLS is one of the largest science projects in our country’s history, with more than 1000 scientists from around the world using our light every year to conduct ground breaking health, agricultural, environments and advanced materials research. CLS has developed an orientation program designed to accommodate the large number of users each year. This presentation will share the processes and unique challenges associated with providing orientation and safety training to researchers from around the world, who are here for two weeks or only days. Please join us to learn more about orientation training at this unique facility.
